Project
Metropolitan cities are developing a considerable amount of projects with the funds of the PON and POC Metro creating an ecosystem that can make available open data, products to be reused, apps to be downloaded on mobile devices, APIs already aligned to the new model and that, in anticipation of the creation of the National Catalogue, can already be made available.
The project therefore intends to represent a coordination activity of these projects, which are among the fundamental components of the country's information operating system and which will make public services for citizens accessible in the simplest way possible, through mobile devices ("mobile first" approach), with secure, scalable, highly reliable architectures based on clearly defined application interfaces (APIs).
Such an ecosystem will be a national reference marketplace for metropolitan cities as a place to showcase solutions to be reused and leveraged, as well as a national access point for companies that want to use data and applications to create new services and opportunities.
Metropolitan cities are implementing more than 100 projects in compliance with interoperability guidelines, also with the support of AGID and Consip, which have full control over the Framework Contracts (in particular the 4 lots of SPC Cloud and lots 2 and 3 SGI), much used in ongoing implementations.
The final objective will be the production of a new METROPOLITAN ECOSYSTEM INTERFACE within which the individual administrations collaborate, and:
- Make data and APIs freely and openly available
